Our Essence
Alston-Kline's core values are based on Micah 6:8 "...to act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with our God." We believe that people can experience a work life that is increasingly positive, which results in a more productive and cohesive team and environment.
The metaphor of the "potter and the clay" represents our service delivery to clients. To us each person (vessel) is a created being, as well as a being in continuous creation. We have witnessed, and expect, great things when people intend positive change. By applying methods of assessment, development, and guidance, we are catalysts of productive change for people. With deep respect and humility, we offer our craft to those we serve.
Although our work emphasizes positives for people, we are not naive. The metaphor of the potter and clay reinforces our responsibility for significant outcomes. We ask organizations to make people the top priority. We know what this requires, and so we work to ensure that our deliverables positively impact organizational performance and capacity.
Increasing the greater good for work that matters
The characteristic artistry, science, and compassion of God inspire our corporation's core essence. This translates appropriately in both for-profit and not-for-profit work environments with respect for each human life we encounter.
Alston-Kline's essence is about "running deep" with people and organizations. Our impact and success are based on measurable outcomes that are attuned to critical business needs. In our thinking, what we deliver must be transformational.
Building capacity for work that matters
We come alongside people who desire to be more effective, who seek to protect the value and intrinsic beauty of an intended mission, and who appreciate profitability and reserve-building as essential to good stewardship.
Our function is both diagnostic and prescriptive. We do not just report to our clients what we perceive as ineffective. We guide our clients through a change process that leads to increased capacity. We are committed to those we serve-from inception to success.
Our Business
Alston-Kline is in the business of organizational development and executive coaching. We guide people and their organizations through a transforming process , offering both hands-on support services as well as published tools, manuals, and workbooks. We devote our work to both for-profit and not-for-profit corporations, whom themselves do important work for others.
All of our consultants are experts in our core service areas. They consult not only from extensive knowledge within their subject areas, but also from in-depth leadership experience in both the for-profit and not-for-profit arenas. Each of our consultants is continuously striving to ensure both relevance and competence as part of the proffered wisdom for change.
We provide knowledgeable, competent, and transforming service deliverables within a trust-engendering, consulting process that is distinctive. Our consulting approach achieves measurable and sustainable outcomes through a deeper path of coming alongside you (both as an individual and a team), molding and refining your organization's capabilities, renewing inter-departmental and team strengths, and increasing overall competency.
